My phone used to slide off the dashboard every time I took a corner. This suction mount has not budged once in three weeks of daily commuting. The magnetic hold is strong enough that I can rotate the phone to landscape for navigation without it dropping.
I tried four different holders before this one and they all left sticky residue or blocked my air vents. The suction base attaches to the windshield cleanly and comes off without a mark. It is the first mount I have not wanted to rip out after a week.
The rotating magnetic attachment was the part I did not expect to use much, but it lets me angle the phone toward the passenger for music without reaching across. The arm folds flat when I do not need it, so the windshield stays clear.
